Giclée Prints

My Epson printer makes beautiful giclée prints. Having it in my studio means I can output my own print runs or print on demand. This allows me to keep a close eye on quality. I am currently using the Epson SureColor P800 with archival inks. Here is a short video that influenced my decision about which printer to buy: Epson SureColor P800.

I print on archival papers—including gorgeous 100% rag Epson Fine Art papers—and use archival board for mats and backers for protection. Before shipping, prints are covered in acid-free wrappers.

Original Artworks

In addition to prints, in the near future I will be posting original oil, acrylic, and pastel paintings for sale.

Current and Future Projects

I am currently focusing on oil paintings in The Potato Chip Wars series, with breaks for smaller projects in the Farm Life series and some fun experimentation with acrylic gels and pastes. Life is good!

I have been pondering what to do for the next big series, alternately leaning towards 19th century architecture, woodlands, and figure paintings. Lately, the architecture has been calling to me :-)

Works in Progress

From time to time, I will give you a peak at what's on the easel in this section.

I have two larger works currently in progress. One is the first in a new series of paintings of rooftops. This is about half done; all areas need more development. Oil on canvas, 36" x 24".

I am also working on a mounted self-portrait. Lots more work to do on this one... it's fun and I love working on it! Oil on canvas, 20" x 40".

Hidden Pond Farm

Mara lives with her family (husband, horses, and cat) on a mini-farm in central Massachusetts. There was a giant rainbow over the farm on the day they bought it.
